Kali Linog and SKC
Kali meaning knife, or to cut, and Linog meaning earthquake in Filipino. Kali Linog is a name given to Tuhon Shifu Kanishka (10th Hagdan) by Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje, the keeper of the traditional Pekiti Tirsia Kali system of the Philippines.
Kali Linog is a blend of the best functional techniques of Pekiti Tirsia Kali (PTK) and San Miguel Escrima in Long Range, Progressive Fighting Systems (PFS) and PTK in Medium Range, and Balintawak 22 Disarms, Headbutting, Kicking and Elbows in Close Range along with Sikit Kurbada of San Miguel in Close Range.
Shifu Kanishka Combatives (SKC) is a system design by Shifu Kanishka, and is a blend of 6 martial arts - Shaolin Kung Fu, Kali Linog, Muay Chaiyya, Jeet Kune Do, Tai Chi, and Wing Chun.
This class begins with long range, medium range, and close range edge and impact weapon training. 6 month initial commitment.
